What is the Phantom Blade Zero release date by region?

S-GAME’s headline release date is October 29, 2026. The official PlayStation Blog specifies October 28 for the US and select regions. That explains why an October 28 storefront date can appear alongside the publisher’s October 29 headline date.

The official note names the US and select regions, not every country, and does not provide a country-by-country unlock schedule. Store pages can display dates for a particular market; check the product page for your own account region before planning around launch. We have not verified a global unlock hour.

Before planning time off

Use your region’s current store page and the latest official launch notice. The date alone does not confirm an exact release time or early access.

Preloading is now underway. S-GAME opened pre-downloads on October 27 ahead of the unlock, and warned that the PC preload needs considerably more free space than the finished install: the game takes about 145 GB once installed, but the encrypted pre-download temporarily needs room for both the temporary files and the full game, roughly 300 GB. Check your drive before you start.

Store listings and publisher announcements describe the unlock as simultaneous worldwide, which is why a local October 28 date appears in the Americas while Asia-Pacific and Europe list October 29. Your own store page remains the authority for your account region.

Your launch preparation checklist

  1. Choose PS5 or PC, then use an official store link.
  2. On PC, compare your complete hardware model names with the published requirements.
  3. Check the edition comparison before paying for extras.
  4. Check free SSD space before preloading: about 300 GB free during the preload, about 145 GB after install.
  5. Recheck the store’s regional date and official updates close to release.
